Elite Goalie Development in the Desert
At Skillz Hockey Center, our Goalie Training Program is built specifically for the most demanding and technical position in hockey. We provide a year-round development environment tailored to goaltenders of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to elite prospects. Our program combines fundamental skill-building with advanced techniques to help goalies improve reaction time, positioning, puck tracking, and mental focus.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to build confidence in net or a competitive goalie preparing for the next level, our program is designed to elevate your game.
Program Highlights:
- Weekly sessions available for ages 8–18
- Small group format for focused instruction (max 2 goalies per session)
- Private sessions available for 1-on-1 development
- Specialty clinics on rebound control, post integration, and puck handling

Game-Realistic Scenarios
Goalies are trained using live shooters, screen drills, rebound control, and more to simulate in-game pressure.
Off-Ice Development
Includes vision training, core strength, balance work, and reflex drills to support total athletic performance.
Synthetic Ice and Skatemill Integration
Our advanced training programs include a skating treadmill to condense hours of skating and cardio work into 25 minute programs tailored to each goalie's developmental needs.
